Powered Flue Convector Fires

If you do not have a chimney in your home then one of these powered flue options could be the answer.
Integral Powered Flue 16" VFC Convector

Specially developed for cavity wall properties, this 16" VFC Convector Fire has been designed to use the gap in the cavity to save space in your room. It also has totally integrated electronics and safety features for ease of installation and operation. All you need is a room with an outside cavity wall and to be able to position the fire so that the flue can go staright through.

Maximum wall thickness, including any marble slips, surrounds, back panels etc is 19 5/8" (500mm)
Minimum is 12" (300mm)

The Powered Flue's extractor unit is neat, weatherproof and measures 11' x 11' x 8 1/2" deep (280x280x215mm) If mounted less than 6' 6" (2m) from the ground a Terminal Guard (8454) will be required
If you do not have a conventional chimney, wish to position your fire against an inside wall or would prefer an 18" or 22" fire, there is is still an excellent chance that a VFC Convector can be fitted in your home using the Gazco Powered Flue Kit (8435). The essential requiremnets are that the fire can be installed within 19' 6" (6m) of an outside wall, the extractor unit more than 1' (300mm) from a window and you have space in the room to construct a 11" (280mm) deep stud-work chimney breast.

Fires must be fitted within 19' 6" (6m) of an outside wall with no more than one bend of 90 degrees in the 5" diameter flue (or deduct 1m for each additional bend up to a maxmum of 4 bends on 2m of flue)
